The Sea Rover releases its submersible with Dirk and Summer inside. They take the submersible down to the depths and begin their inspection of the sunken submarine. At first, their exploration reveals no porcelain canisters, designed for biological warfare. Close to the sub, they send in a smaller remote operated vehicle that could get into places their submersible could not.
