Chapters 17 and 18 Summary

Dirk and Sarah drop off the bomb casing at the lab and go for lunch. They observe that a black Cadillac, which was noticed on a previous trip to the car auction, is following them. The Cadillac follows his own classic car onto the ferry, and the boat takes off down the river. Dirk approaches the Cadillac and looks in the window, noticing that the two Asian men inside are carrying weapons. He returns to his own car, and when the ferry docks, he and Sarah drive to nearby restaurant for lunch. After lunch, they return to the road to head back to the ferry and are followed by the Cadillac again. This time, the men in the Cadillac open fire and Dirk's quick thinking and quick driving keep them alive......
