Chapter 14 Summary

An opulent yacht, a familiar sight on the Han River in Korea, enters a private inlet and docks. Three politicians emerge from the yacht and enter the home which is owned by Dae-jong Kang. Kang is a wealthy businessman in South Korea with secret ties to the North Korean government. The three politicians join him in his mansion, and he talks to them about the advantages of uniting North and South Korea. He mentions that, in order for North Korea to be willing to reunite with the South, the American military must be out of the country. Then he asks them to support an upcoming resolution in the National Assembly for the removal of the American military from South Korea, and he reminds them that it was his own wealth and influence that.....
