Chapter 6 Summary

A luxurious Gulfstream V jet touches down in Tokyo and, Chris Gavin, the high-living CEO of SemCon Industries. is whisked to the grand opening of his latest facilities. During the ceremony, an explosion goes off inside the building. The glass exterior of the building shatters and rains down on the crowd. During the ensuing chaos, Gavin feels a sharp pain in his neck. As his security guards rush him to his limo, he loses the ability to use his limbs. He dies almost immediately. The reader then reads about a bald man who is seen leaving the scene.
