Chapter Ten 1966 Wedding Bells

Bunty is busy shopping for a wedding gift for Ted and Ruby is helping work at the shop. When the family pet store burns down they reopen a medical supply store instead of another pet store. Bunty is also busy making sure Ruby has everything she needs for the wedding because Ruby is going to be one of the bridesmaids. On the day of the wedding all the men in attendance are upset because, as it turns out, the wedding date is also the date for the final of the World Cup and that England is playing against their "sworn enemy- the Hun." After the ceremony all the men have run off to a side room where they find a television and are all watching the World Cup. Ted's new bride is crying because she cannot find...
