Lexius leads Laurent back to the garden and gives orders without sounding angry. The grooms bind Laurent to the cross upside-down and blindfold him. On Lexius' command, the grooms whip Laurent relentlessly until the lords enter the garden for the banquet. Laurent reflects back on the Punishment Cross in the Village and is proud to be distinguished again as the rebellious, punished one.

When Laurent is unbound and stands upright, several of the lords surround him and Laurent notices the same happening to the other slaves as well. One man enters Laurent anally and another enters him orally. He is used in both locations by one man after another until he loses count of how many have violated him.
