Summary

Tabitha shows Peter a report she received from Special Branch whom Peter suspects got involved because Joint requested they be involved. The file indicates that Liz and Alec are both working together at the same library. The two officers assigned to the couple attended a meeting of the Goldhawk Road Branch of the British Communist Party. Alec had appeared bored at the meeting until Bert Arthur Lownes, who owned Lownes the People’s Grocer began speaking. Alec taunts Lownes and suggests they should arm themselves against to Americans with a response of jeers and some applause. Liz and Alec left the meeting at that point. Both the officers note that the two were followed by a man with wavy hair. He waited at the apartment building they went inside until a light come on, indicating which unit was theirs.
