Chapter 58, Sansa and Chapter 59, Davos Summary

Sansa Stark is watching King Joffrey prepare for battle. Joffrey shows her his new sword and makes her kiss the blade before riding off to take command of the three massive trebuchets in the city. Sansa goes to the sept to sing and pray with the others, but leaves when the priest begins a blessing on Joffrey. She goes to Cersei, who is sitting with all the women of the castle. The women will banquet while the fighting goes on. Ser Ilyn, the captain of the queen's new guard, is there and Sansa ask why. Cersei tells her she wants him there for protection, and to protect against the other guards, since they are all is a mercenaries.
