Chapter 48, Arya Summary
Arya Stark is eating in the kitchen with Hot Pie at Harrenhal when a horn blows, signaling someone coming. It is the Bloody Mummers returning, and Arya learns that they have defeated Roose Bolton's men when they tried to cross the river. The prisoners are taken to the dungeon, and the mummers tell Ser Amory that Roose has fled. Gendry asks what's going on and Arya asks him to help free the prisoners, since they are northmen and loyal to Robb. Gendry refuses and says he wants to stay at the castle. She goes to the godswood to practice her sword moves with a stick, and soon Jaqen comes out and talks to her. He is tired of waiting for her to give him a third name.
