Chapter 17, Bran Summary

Bran Stark is going to a harvest feast at Winterfell. Hodor comes and helps him get dressed. Hodor then carries him in a basket to the hall, and on the way, they pass Little Walder and Big Walder Frey in the yard. The Freys make fun of Hodor until they are stopped by Maester Luwin. At the feast, Lord Wyman Manderly is present and is talking with Ser Rodrik. Wyman says Lord Tywin Lannister has sent him a letter asking for him to remain neutral in the war, in exchange for his captive son, Wylis. Wyman says he isn't going to agree to this.

The next day, Lady Donella arrives and tells Maester Luwin, Ser Rodrik, and Bran that her lands are in danger from Lannister allies. Her husband was killed in the war, and she needs a new one to...
