Why is the first chapter titled, The City of My Dreams, in the memoir, I Have Lived a Thousand Years: Growing Up in the Holocaust?

The title, The City of My Dreams, implies that Elli's hometown provides all the material for her dreams. She seems to have been a happy girl and that might be in part from her surroundings. The town of Somorja gives Elli safety. She can run with her friends and swim in the river.
