Object Descriptions
This section provides a short description of all the major objects in the book. This can be printed out as a study guide for students, used as a "key" for leading a class discussion, or you can jump to the quiz/homework section to find worksheets that incorporate these descriptions into a variety of question formats.
Objects
The Land - This is the ancient place where a character sleeps and imagines a more exciting life.
Porpentine - This is a necklace taken from the ancient land to New York City that signifies the life of the ancient world.
Hierogram - This item also signifies the life of the ancient world and is destroyed to enable the release of a trapped character.
Barbie's Apartment - This is where one of the main characters lives in New York City and dreams.
