Fun Classroom Activities

1. Write a poem
Write a poem, hip-hop or rap that captures the same sentiments about life and death as the John Keats poem in the first scene of the play.
2. You-Tube
Find a video of a politician's speech that conveys the same sense of patriotism as the Webster speech noted in the first scene.
3. Rent the film
Abe Lincoln in Illinois was made into a film starring Raymond Massey in 1940. Rent the film and watch it with classmates.
