Unwind by Neal Shusterman is a work of fiction set in an undetermined year. It is after the new Heartland War, which is the second Civil War the United States has had in its history. As the war was being fought, some military advisers decided to shock both sides into ending the war by suggesting the Bill of Life which included the Unwinding Accord and the Storking Initiative.
