The Boys from Biloxi Overview

In the legal thriller, The Boys from Biloxi, by John Grisham, Keith Rudy swears he will get justice when his father, District Attorney Jesse Rudy, is murdered by members of the Dixie Mafia. Justice is not so easy when Hugh Malco, Keith's best friend from childhood, is found responsible for ordering the attack on Jesse. Themes in the novel include good versus evil and the morality of the death penalty. There are repeated references to the childhood friendship between Keith and Hugh, a motif that emphasizes throughout the novel that good and evil grow from the influences surrounding them.
