Dav Pilkey's graphic novel, Dog Man: Mothering Heights, follows the adventures of Dog Man as he winds up in a cone after an accident. He is then gifted the “Cone of Destiny” that transforms him into a superhero. As Dog Man is recovering from an injury, the Chief is involved in a budding romance and Petey reveals more about his past.
