Summary

In “Off the Record,” a woman named Nina arrives in Los Angeles to interview a young actress named Kelsey Adams. Nina is working for her former employer, Gloss & Glitter magazine in a freelance capacity. Nina recently had a baby, but Kelsey specifically requested her, as she interviewed Kelsey once before, years earlier. Nina's mother has recently died, and she is not close with the father of her baby. Nina's editor has tasked her with uncovering information about Kelsey's recent breakup with her handsome costar.

Nina leaves her baby with a sitter and goes to Kelsey's house, and the actress immediately opens up about this exact topic, describing in graphic detail suffering a miscarriage and subsequently being abandoned by her boyfriend. Nina is concerned that Kelsey will retroactively tell her she is speaking off the record, and also her cell...
