Scrabble

Scrabble represents togetherness. It unites Charlotte and Ben from a 1,000 miles away and gives them something they can rely on through the tough times. It also gives common ground between Charlotte and her father. When the two are playing Scrabble in her memories, they are connected and their relationship is solid. When Charlotte gives up Scrabble, she ends up separated from her father and their relationship suffers.
