Summary

In Chapter 13, Will Grayson (Narrator 1) wakes up at 5:43 a.m. to the sound of Tiny Cooper honking the horn of his car outside Will’s house. Tiny shares that he had a realization about his play the previous night and that it has to be about more than just him, so he rewrote the musical to make it about love and renamed it Hold Me Closer. Tiny drives Will to the school so that he can start preparing the stage for his play, while Will watches. After school, Tiny calls Will after school while reworking his play and talking about the other Will Grayson. Will feels insignificant to Tiny, like his old stuffed animal Marvin, who he would leave in his closet and only play with occasionally. Will asks Gary for Jane’s address then goes to see her.
