Chapter Seven

Blake charmed the staff at Moonlight, her sister’s rehab center. Jordan even reacted to him and seemed taken by him. He met with Moonlight’s administrator about the center’s security and about the care that Jordan was receiving. He thought that Jordan could be cared for at home. He didn’t press the issue when he saw the topic upset Sam.

Sam offered Eliza a partnership in Alliance since she wouldn’t be available to run it. Because of the bugging and surveillance, Sam and Blake decided it would be best to stay together to prove that their marriage wasn’t a sham. She needed Eliza to do some field recruiting work.
