Summary

The second section of this novel is titled Pervdog. The subtitle reads: “Freddy Otash Confesses, Part II.” The first chapter of this section is titled “Cell 2607.” The subtitle reads: “Penance Penitentiary; Reckless-Wrecker-of-Lives Block; Pervert Purgatory; 8/25/2020.” Freddy says he is “still stagnantly stuck” in prison and with “the failing body I had when I crapped out, back in '92” (47).

The next chapter is titled “Atop Mattress Jack Kennedy's Boss Bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.” The subtitle is the date: “2/14/54.” Freddy, Jack Kennedy, and several other high-profile people are gathered to watch another atom-bomb testing in the desert. Freddy notes that Jack likes him, partly because he provided call girls the night of Jack's honeymoon, prompting Jackie to get in bed with Freddy. Freddy describes the drugs and alcohol available.
