This was first published as issue 11/12 of the journal Big Sky in 1978, and collects various remembrances of O'Hara by a wide variety of writers and painters. As such, it makes for a nice companion volume to Gooch's biography.

This book contains essays on various elements of popular American culture going back to the 1940s.  Easy to read, it nonetheless provides some critical perspectives on America's recent past.
