Summary

The man returned to his home carrying a bag of food and drinks. The first thing he saw was "the car in the driveway and the girl on the bed" (6). The television was on and the boy was waiting on the porch. The man greeted the girl, glad she had "found the bed" (6). The girl moved from the bed and explained why she had been lying on it.
