Summary

In "The Main Act," Two Feathers prepared for her dive with her mare, Ocher. She examined the audience and waited for her friend Crawford's sign. She and Ocher dove successfully. Afterwards, she received a lot of attention. She and Ocher had been "lauded as 'The World's Most Thrilling and Daring Act'" (5).

In "Backstage," once off stage, Two felt proud of herself. After her injury last season, she had to return "home to Oklahoma, to the Miller Brothers' One Hundred and One (101) Ranch" (6). After healing, she went back to Nashville to find work again. Now she was on loan at Glendale Park and Zoo. Her friends, the juggling sisters Marty and Franny, met her in the dressing rooms.
