Maya and Marc in Youth:

Growing up in the kibbutz, Marc and Maya were the ideal couple whom everyone admired and rooted for. Marc was shy and distant but also passionate, which was better than Maya had been treated before. They were madly in love with each other, and Maya took Marc's virginity when the latter was fourteen. Once they had their apartments at thirteen, Maya would visit Marc in his room.
