Unready to Wear Summary

Many years ago, a man named Dr. Ellis Konigswasser, was sick of his body. One day Konigswasser stepped right out of himself and calls this being amphibious. Soon many people were becoming amphibious. The amphibious people are much happier out of bodies. They keep many bodies in storage centers for when they feel like trying out a body again for fun. Every year, they hold a Pioneers Parade, where they celebrate the achievement of Dr. Konigswasser. One year, at the parade, the narrator and Madge wandered off towards the enemy camp. The "enemy" are the humans who have not left their bodies. In the enemy camp, they saw two beautiful bodies in a storage unit. Before he could stop her, the narrator saw Madge step into the woman's body and an alarm went off. She was captured. The narrator...
