Summary

“The New Frontier” takes place in 2003. Nick is in his twenties and has graduated from law school, but he failed the bar exam. He is also recently divorced, as he and his wife were both having sex with other people. One day, Nick is contacted by Bobby Rausch, whom he has known since childhood. Bobby is in the U.S. Air Force and is scheduled to be deployed to Iraq in three weeks. Bobby is estranged from his stepsister, Lisa. However, he recently saw a picture of her on an ad for a Las Vegas prostitution service. Bobby, worried that Lisa is living dangerously, asks Nick to come to Las Vegas with him to search for her.
