Summary

In Chapter 11, “One Last Chance to Be a Winner,” Kira stands behind the door when Peter pulls up to see if he will hesitate before entering. Outside, Richard approaches, stalling Peter. He tells Peter he can save the club on several conditions. In the forest, Teemu Rinnius, leader of the Pack, drives to Adri Ovich’s kennels. He smuggles alcohol to Adri. The townspeople call the Pack “a violent gang,” who will protect the A-team at any cost, though they have no proof of this. On the island, Maya writes songs and thinks about her parents, their former tenderness, the way it has faded. She blames blaming herself.
