Summary

In Chapter 21, Ed helps Jeanie move to the new place Julius found. Ed collects everything from Bridget and Stu's, and drives Jeanie to the new property. In the car, Jeanie promises to pay Ed if he collects the rest of their belongings, including the piano, from the cottage. Ed agrees. When they arrive at the new place, Jeanie is shocked. It is just a dumpy caravan in a field. Jeanie tries remaining calm. She does not tell Ed to forget about "the rest of their belongings from outside the cottage" (200).

In Chapter 22, "Ed and his mate" return (202). He tells Jeanie all of their belongings were already gone. He tried moving the piano, but could not get it up the path. Jeanie is furious. When Julius arrives at the caravan, Jeanie is furious. Julius is unconcerned about the space, and the missing belongings. When...
