Summary

Chapter 50

Unstible says that he is hungry, and that by setting things on fire, he absorbs their content in the smoke. Unstible is surrounded by Smoglodytes of different shapes and sizes, and he threatens to return to London to take care of Zanna. The Smog throws the printout confirming Unstible’s death into the fire, so Deeba no longer has any evidence of what she has found. Deeba says that the Smog will be defeated in UnLondon the same way it was defeated in London, but Unstible says that “everything will burn, and burn, and burn, and smoke.” (p. 205). Unstible says that Brokkenbroll wants to run things, and make the people burn things for the Smog. Unstible says that he will find out what Deeba knows not by torturing her, but by burning her.
