Summary

Aza goes to Davis' house where she is given a ride around the grounds by Lyle, the security guard. Lyle tells her that the Pickett boys are going through a hard time. They find Davis, who tells Aza that Noah got in trouble for bringing marijuana to school. Aza and Davis kiss, but Aza has to stop because of her intrusive thoughts about bacteria. She mentions an Edna St. Vincet Millay poem about snow, and then she goes to the bathroom to try to calm down. She sees hand sanitizer and drinks it. When she comes out, she runs into Noah, who asks her to keep looking for his father.

Back at home, in Chapter 15, Aza does some searching online and discovers a new blog Davis is writing. Using veiled terms, he writes about loneliness and about Aza.
