Summary

The next chapter is titled “Kitchen Songs.” June leaves the house and finds Nana Jean waiting to hug her. She invites June inside for a meal. June is struck by how different this house is from her own. She does not realize she is crying. Nana Jean provides a meal then sits down with them.
