Summary

The next chapter is titled “Kitchen Songs.” June leaves the house and finds Nana Jean waiting to hug her. She invites June inside for a meal. June is struck by how different this house is from her own. She does not realize she is crying. Nana Jean provides a meal then sits down with them. She does not try to talk, allowing the food to speak for itself.

The next chapter is titled “A Choir of Crows.” June and Ziggy go through the garden to the ninth dimension. June says it is “even more beautiful” and Ziggy responds that “Everything's more beautiful when you're full” (188).
