Chapters 1-7 Summary

A short Chapter 1 focuses on Arthur Lieberman, Federal Reserve Board Chairman, who has less than a year to live. Determined to go out in infamy, he will be completing one final act that will destroy certain individuals, and he is happy to do so. It will mean that he will fly to California today, from Dulles Airport in Washington, D.C. The plane, however, has been sabotaged, and, shortly after take-off, the right wing separates from the plane, and it crashes. There are no survivors.
