Summary

As Chapter Four starts, he finds that the girl has freed herself, finished the laundry and prepared breakfast. He freaks out, thinking that she must assume he cannot take care of himself. Gabe thinks that freaks make people doubt themselves. He ties her up, telling her she is wrong about him and that she should have run when she had the chance. He forces her to wear rubber gloves (which dampen a Yellow’s power). She finally fights back, and Gabe realizes why Hutch called those who enjoyed this job monsters.

When the two do arrive at a PSF station, Gabe sees the men he stole from inside and rushes back to the car. He decides to go to the main office in Phoenix. The girl shows him how he breaks out of the handcuffs, and he lets her turn...
