Summary

In Chapter 31, Carrie traded clothes with Lo and told her that she had to hurry before Bullmer got back to the boat. Carrie was letting Lo go free. In order to do so with no questions asked, Lo was going to get off the boat as Anne and then on a plane as Carrie. Bullmer had Lo’s passport locked up so Lo would have to use Carrie’s. Carrie assured Lo that she had a plan to ensure her own safety after Lo was off the boat. Carrie warned Lo that Richard knew many people in Norway and even had friends on the Norwegian police force. Carrie insisted that Lo could not mention her real identity but Lo thought she was being too cautious.
