Summary

Alex and Conner travel by boat to get to the Northern Kingdom to get a jewel from Snow White's coffin in Chapter 15. They travel down river and into Swan Lake; the book tells them that the moat around Snow White's castle could provide them with a way of sneaking in. At night, they use a log to float into the moat, but they find that there is extra security close to the castle because of the Evil Queen's escape. They have to use the log as a cover and swim under the large gate. Conner does this successfully, but when he comes up on the inside of the gate he cannot find Alex. Her bag has snagged on the bottom tip of the gate and she is struggling to unhook it. Once they are safe, they enter the castle through a long dark...
