Summary

In Chapter 10, Ellery spoke to her children on the phone and felt deep sadness at being apart from them and at Luke breaking up their family. In Chapter 11, Ellery met up with Ravi and Nina in the Main House of the resort for cocktail hour. Ravi told them that he had overheard two members of staff discussing the fact that one of the artworks in the grounds had gone missing. They met a married couple named Maddox and Morgan who were popular influencers on a social network named LikeMe. The guests were interrupted by an announcement from Catherine, the mother of the bride. She told everyone that the wedding had not gone ahead. She didn’t want everything to go to waste so she invited the other guests at the resort to the terrace to have the food and drinks.
