Summary

The group rides to the Fords of Isen in hopes of finding the king’s men who are holding back Saruman’s minions. The next day in the distance, Legolas can see a darkness moving from Isengard, great shapes that are moving down the river. A horseman comes riding up telling them they are too late if they came to help the fight. Saruman has sent out his entire army plus armed the wild hill men and the herd-folk of Dunland.
