Alameda County Superior Courthouse

This courthouse was one of Kamala’s most important internships during her career as a lawyer. It is where she decided that she wanted to be a prosecutor. This was also where she helped an unnamed woman escape a weekend of imprisonment after the woman was falsely arrested during a drug bust. This is what showed Kamala the stakes present in the criminal justice system.
