Summary

Li-yan loves Jin, but is unsure if he loves her back. She considers her thoughts of marriage foolish, despite all their dates and trips to fancy hotels and dinners. Then, Mr. Huang arrives at her tea shop. He sits and they catch up, though Li-yan is not happy to see him, as she still blames him for her misfortune. A few weeks later, Jin takes her to a colonial inn and proposes to her. He has gone to her family three times and convinced them to let them marry. She has a brand-new headdress waiting.
