Trudy Summary

Trudy returns to the barn and is confronted by Edgar. He asks her to keep Claude in the house that night so he has the chance to search the barn for something. Trudy agrees and is overwhelmed with relief to see Edgar. Edgar then heads off across the field.

Trudy's loyalty to her son remains unchallenged as she falls into line with Edgar. Edgar needs to find the poison bottle, but he also needs to hide before he can go looking for it.
