Summary

Chapter Nine begins in the past as Paul and James discussed their dreams, but Paul lied and said it was pointless even though he was remembering dreams and had two similar ones. They head to C5b and Charlie asked everyone to report their dreams. Billy said he had a short lucid dream. Charlie asked Paul how it went, and Paul says nothing happened. James also said nothing happened and Charlie said to give it another week. Billy then asked what James dreamed and he says he sensed something in the Shadows. Charlie questioned him about the presence. Charlie said James saw a man that Charlie was with and says that he and James were in the same dream.
