Summary
In Chapter 10, Hazel awakes to find Barnaby gone. He left her a note explaining that he had an early tutoring session and did not want to wake her. He asks her to meet him at Legrain for coffee later. Edwin calls Hazel and asks if she knows anything about a stolen book. Edwin suspects a group of tourists that arrived after Hazel left. Hazel apologizes for leaving the parcel unattended but claims she knows nothing about it. She leaves the house to mail a letter to Peggy Andrews and to clear the air with the Hogans.
