After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States is seized with a passionate patriotism that comes from believing that the enemy truly is Evil Incarnate. Soon Frederick's mother decides that it is time for him to go to boarding school, so he goes off to school in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
