Summary

On the flight to New York, Rosie asks Don to tell her about his past. Don shares that his father owns a hardware store in a city a few hours away. Don's mother and brother live there too and Don's brother will probably take over the store when their father dies. Don's older sister died at the age of 40 from medical negligence related to an ectopic pregnancy. Don and his father communicate but they're not close, and Don finds his mother to be caring but stifling. Don states that his brother does not like him, probably because he always viewed Don as a threat to his taking over the hardware store.
