Summary

Grant and Eleanor celebrated winning their Surplus Fields’ lawsuit and prepared for their next legal fight to prove NettieFood contained harmful sedatives. Increased drone presence, including types that Grant identified as army-combatants, added to his anxiety about Aunt Nettie.

With the possibility of Olympic competition approaching, pressures intensified on the Net U team. Grant, speculating on the ChinRussian’s abilities, shared how baseball was “more than a sport” (153) to Gwen’s teammates, but also “the level playing field we envisioned” (153).
