Summary

In Chapter 35, on the night of blades and stars, Auntie planned to write about Peter. She sensed he was coming to visit her. She remembered Peter’s mother coming to her with a box one night when she was dying of cancer. Peter’s mother had asked Auntie not to give the box to Peter until he came for it.

Meanwhile, Jimmy went to Firing Platform Nine where he knew Soo would be stationed. Soo was feeling a nameless dread. In other parts of the colony, people were dreaming. Some people dreamed of the woman in the kitchen, like Sanjay; others dreamed of a girl alone in the dark.
