Summary

In Chapter 6, Addison and Digger discuss the situation and decide that Addison will go to the police, but not with the full story. They wait until the drugs wear off and Addison leaves his car at a nearby diner. He tells Lieutenant Huang and Huang's partner, Sergeant Baltimore, that he is working on a project about Kevin. Huang says the investigation is ongoing, meaning he cannot give Addison information. Addison says that he found out some information during his research, and gives Huang Mike Lorriner's name. Huang is skeptical and wants to know were Addison got the information. Addison refuses to say, and Huang says police cannot investigate Mike without some credible reason. After a short time of back-and-forth, Addison claims a close friendship with Kevin, believing this will make his information more personal and, therefore, more believable. The opposite happens.
