In the section “Stands and Falls,” S.Q. interrupted Mr. Curtain just as Sticky had given up resisting the Whisperer. S.Q. told Mr. Curtain that two students were trying to break into the tower. After sending S.Q. away to take care of the problem, Mr. Curtain told Sticky he was not happy with his session. He decided it was time for Reynie to take over.
