Summary

Grace woke up on the church floor, weak from the effort of envisioning what happened to Francisco. Alberto revealed that Christina was trying to do what Francisco had done: swim through the hole in La Presencia in the hopes of arriving somewhere else on the other side. Alberto explained that Christina knew someone was trying to kill her and decided to escape her fate by attempting to travel to a different world. Francisco’s account of what happened to him convinced Alberto that Christina was alive and well and living in another world which he referred to as Salacia, named after the Roman goddess of the sea.
